A Gipo R150 Heavy Duty Impact Crusher for Goode Concrete

22nd July 2008

Goode Concrete based in County Galway has also been a recipient of GIPO mobile crushing and screening technology. Operating from Tonroe Quarry the company has purchased a GIPO R150 FDR to replace their Kleeman 152 Impactor.

Goode Concrete has purchased this machine to supply aggregates for concrete production and the supply of the local aggregate requirement in the Galway area.

The GIPO R150 heavy duty impact crusher includes a variable speed drive with an inlet size of 1500 x 1125mm, complete with hydraulic inlet opening function by remote control. Hydraulic adjustment for both impact walls is also featured including a lift for blockage release. With a feed hopper made from 20mm Hardox, a 1.6m wide discharge conveyor, the heavy-duty feeder and large pre-screen functions are both operated by remote control. A Hardox crusher by-pass chute is also specified to allow the middle sized pre-screened stone to be diverted behind the crusher. A 1.5m wide feeder tray positioned under the crusher absorbs all impact and provides an unrestricted crusher outlet.

Completing the specification is a Caterpillar C15 drive with 433 kW supplying power through to the hydraulic system. Weighing in at approximately 83 tons the GIPO P150 offers Goode Concrete a performance around 600 tph.
